MAC CACIQUE: Next Objective,
Spanish Young Horses Championship
Spanish Young Horses Championship
At Yeguada MAC, we approach our next major challenge with excitement and determination: the Spanish Young Horses Championship, which will take place in Segovia, at the CECyl facilities, from 4th to 7th September. We will compete with MAC CACIQUE, a promising 5-year-old Spanish Sport Horse, son of the elite stallion Cacique IX and grandson of Ermitaño III (the first elite Pure Spanish Horse and origin of many current dressage champions).
Despite his limited competition experience, MAC CACIQUE has met all the requirements to qualify: two appearances at national competitions — including a 3-star event — achieving over 75% in both. Remarkably, he accomplished this on his very first day at each competition, clearly demonstrating his quality and potential.
The partnership of José Antonio García Mena and MAC CACIQUE has provided us with moments of pure emotion, the result of years of dedication, hard work, and passion to help our horses reach their full genetic potential and become the best versions of themselves.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to José Antonio García Mena and his entire team of professionals — grooms, riders, veterinarians, physiotherapists, and farriers — for their dedication and commitment. We also extend our thanks to the breeders, both large and small, who have shown their appreciation and recognition of our work and breeding vision; to the dressage enthusiasts who have applauded these performances as pure art; to friends who have postponed their holidays to accompany us at these decisive moments; and, of course, to our own team, without whom none of this would be possible.

A special thanks goes to our sponsor, whose support has made it possible for MAC CACIQUE to be on the competition grounds, seizing these opportunities. Their trust and guidance have allowed us to take risks, grow from our own essence, and fully express our vision and values in every training session and competition.
With our eyes set on the Championship, we continue working with the same dedication that has brought us this far, confident that this young colt, in the hands of José Antonio García Mena, has everything needed to keep inspiring us.
